Practising Non-Fiction Editors Survey

This project is being undertaken as part of Master of Editing and Publishing through the University of Southern Queensland.

The purpose of this project is to deepen our understanding of the ethical responsibility of the editor when editing non-fiction texts that contain potentially harmful or distressing material.

Your participation will involve completion of an online questionnaire that will take approximately 30 minutes of your time.

Questions will include yes/no and short answer responses, designed to deepen our understanding of the ethical responsibility of the editor when editing non-fiction texts that contain potentially harmful or distressing material.

Practising editors who have experience editing non-fiction texts are invited to participate.

The survey itself requires you to reflect on your experience as an editor of non-fiction texts. The survey consists of 20 questions and all responses are anonymous. Please do not include any identifying information in your responses.

Your participation in this project is entirely voluntary. If you do not wish to take part, you are not obliged to. If you decide to take part and later change your mind, you are free to withdraw from the project at any stage. You can withdraw from the project by exiting the questionnaire at any time without submitting your responses.

Please download and read the Participant Information Sheet prior to commencing the survey.

Clicking on the 'Submit' button at the conclusion of the survey is accepted as an indication of your consent to participate in this project.
